Q & A

What is the dress code?

If you know Danny, you know that there is no dress code. If you know Erika, you know she loves to dress up. So, here’s where we’re at:

For the welcome party, wear whatever will make you feel ready to mingle and sip a drink under Texas Live Oak trees. Think: denim, boots, & flowy fabrics. Neither the welcome party or wedding venues are pointy-heel-friendly; stilettos will sink.

For our wedding, we are aiming for an Autumn Festival Disco of sorts. If we were to put it in three words, the suggested attire is: vibrant, festive, and funky. Mainly, we’re asking folks to dress up in whatever makes them feel their best—whatever that thing in your closet is that makes you feel amazing but you just can never quite find the right event for it. Think: jewel tones, glittery gowns, power jumpsuits, bold shoes, statement earrings. Feel most comfortable in a traditional suit? Find a fun pair of socks or tie that makes you smile. The venue is outdoors and heels will sink in the grass. Bring a layer for if the temperature drops and wear boots if you have em. There are no rules here except to wear whatever will make you feel radiant & feel ready to break it down on the dance floor.

Are kids invited?

Our wedding is a full family affair. Little ones are welcome! We do want everyone to have an unbridled fun time, so encourage you to consider finding childcare if that’s an option for you and you’re wanting to fully let loose.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Due to capacity of the venue, space is limited. We ask that you refer to your invitation, and if you feel that a mistake has been made, text us and we can figure it out together!

Is there transportation to and from the events?

Due to the spread out nature of the lodging folks will be using for the wedding, we are not currently planning on providing shuttles. But, we encourage folks to take rideshares and carpool. Parking at the welcome party and wedding will be somewhat limited, so please share cars when possible. Fetii is a newer app that is similar to Uber & Lyft that runs reasonably-priced 16 passenger vans (you can call on demand or schedule them ahead). They go out to Dripping Springs and makes it easy to coordinate and split larger group vehicles.

When should I rsvp by?

To ensure we have adequate space for everyone, we ask folks to RSVP as soon as possible. We know it can be difficult to plan far in advance, but ask that guests RSVP to the best of their knowledge by October 9th.

“We have a conflict but will bend over backwards to make sure we make it!!”

Look, we’d love to have you there. We also really don’t want our wedding weekend to be a fluster for us or for you. Everyone knows wedding weekends aren’t the best time to get quality time with the couple anyway. Just let us know ‘no,’ save the money, and let’s find a better time to catch up and hang out!
